Hi, I’m Java—the hands and heart behind every piece you see here.
As a woman who grew up between Brazil and Spain and moved to New Zealand at 19, I’ve always embraced new beginnings. When my husband’s job led us to a new town during my maternity leave, I saw it as the perfect opportunity for a fresh start. After bidding farewell to a job I cherished for over five years, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery.
Settling in the charming town of Geraldine, a friend invited me to a polymer clay button-making class. I went in clueless about the material, but to my surprise, I instantly fell in love with its versatility. This sparked an idea: why not create something different? Thus, the concept of crafting earrings was born, igniting a passion I never knew existed. Throughout this journey, my husband has been my unwavering support, always encouraging me to chase my dreams.
Why Java Creationz? "CreatioNZ" reflects my love for New Zealand—both for my beautiful family and my wee business—while "Java" comes from my name, Irian Java.
Finding beautiful jewellery that truly represents my style has always been a challenge. I realized I could empower others to showcase their uniqueness through my designs. I believe that wearing jewellery that embodies your individuality brings out your confidence. It fills me with joy to see people wearing my creations, feeling more beautiful, fun, feminine, and elegantly sexy.

I have a funny mixed accent, a love for animals, and a deep connection with nature—whether I’m hiking through the forest or soaking up the colours of spring. I believe in living a healthy, vibrant life filled with mindful eating, energizing movement, and finding joy in the little things. I adore the perfectly imperfect, natural shapes of handmade. Working with my hands makes me feel grounded, creative, and inspired, and I pour that same energy into every piece I make.
